Meet Our Surrogates

We are continuously recruiting new surrogates and matching them with intended parents. Below is a list of some of our available or recently-matched surrogates who are representative of the women we work with. For more information on our full list of potential surrogates, please contact us.

Eryn

Eryn is 32 years old and lives in Sisters, Oregon, which is about 20 miles outside of Bend. She lives with her husband of nearly 8 years, their two children, ages 3 and 1, and part time with her teenage stepdaughter. Eryn has wanted to become a surrogate for a long time. She can’t imagine life without her kids and thinks surrogacy is an amazing, wonderful process.

Eryn works part-time as a self-employed massage therapist and running the carpet-cleaning business she owns with her husband, which she is able to do mostly from home in order to be with her kids. She describes herself as a good multitasker. She’s very interested in nutrition and environmental products in order to keep her family healthy and safe. In her spare time she enjoys arts and crafts, and playing with her kids or taking them on hikes or to the river. Eryn was born in Massachusetts and her husband was born in California, but both of them have been in Oregon for most of their lives.

Jennifer

Jennifer is a 24 year old single mom living in Oregon City with her mother and her 2 year old daughter. Jennifer met a few surrogates and intended parents working at a women’s health clinic. She really liked being pregnant, and she thinks surrogacy sounds like an awesome experience and an amazing thing to do for someone. She sees it as a win-win: a way to help her pay off student loans, and a great thing to do for someone else.

Jennifer works as a medical assistant at a women’s clinic in a hospital. She is working on going back to school to become a registered nurse. In her spare time she enjoys playing guitar, snowboarding, cooking, and crafting. Someday she hopes to buy a house and take her daughter to Disneyland. Jennifer was born and raised in Oregon. She says she has a small but close family.

Amy

Amy is a 32 year old single mom living in Beaverton with her two daughters, ages 11 and 4. Amy is a second-time surrogate for NWSC. She first started thinking about becoming a surrogate when she was in school to become a midwife, but knew she wanted to have another child of her own first. In the meantime she became an egg donor and had her second daughter, and then finally became a surrogate and delivered a healthy baby girl in the spring of 2012.

Amy is a postpartum doula and is attending school full time, and intends to get a master’s degree in nurse-midwifery. She is certified in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and also has NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification. Amy fills her spare time with many hobbies and interests, including gardening, cooking, and playing guitar, and has a particular interest in women’s health and reproduction. Amy grew up in Pennsylvania and has been in Oregon for several years.

Mindy

Mindy is 27 years old and has 3 year old twin girls. They are all living in Portland with Mindy’s parents while her husband, a member of the United States Air Force, is stationed overseas. Mindy wants to become a surrogate because she loves being pregnant but is done having children of her own.

Mindy is a stay-at-home mom. She considers herself good with children and has an interest in teaching children’s yoga. She also hopes to study photography and someday become a family photographer. When Mindy was 18 she placed her first child for adoption, and has an open relationship with the child and the adoptive parents. Mindy and her husband knew each other in high school and have been together for 7 years. He is supportive of the surrogacy. He was overseas during part of her pregnancy with their twins, but Mindy says she receives lots of support from both sets of their parents. Mindy was born in Oregon and her family and her husband’s family all live in Oregon as well.

Jamie

Jamie is 28 years old and lives in Bend with her husband and three children, ages 9, 7, and 3. Jamie wants to become a surrogate for the same reasons she volunteers a lot; she wants the opportunity to help someone else. A good friend of hers has been a surrogate twice and she’s seen what an awesome experience it has been for her. She’s done having children of her own but misses being pregnant and wants to help another family.

Jamie is attending college full time to earn a liberal arts degree. She also works as a freelance journalist, and hopes to expand her career and travel internationally once she graduates. In her spare time Jamie loves horseback riding, running, and reading. Her husband is an assistant golf professional. They were both born and raised in Oregon and their families are supportive.

Ashley

Ashley is a 21 year old single mom living in Salem with her 2 year old son. Ashley loves being pregnant, and thinks she’d be really good at being a surrogate. She has known people who’ve struggled to have children, and also knows someone who’s been a surrogate twice and had wonderful experiences.

Ashley is currently attending school full time to study speech language pathology and elementary education. She also works as a freelance photographer. After school she would either like to become an elementary school teacher or continue studying speech language pathology. Spending time with her son is a priority for her, and eventually she would like to have more children of her own. In her spare time Ashley enjoys cooking, board games, and travel. She was born and raised in Salem and has supportive family nearby.

Theresa

Theresa is a 35 year old single mom living in Portland with her two daughters, ages 7 and 9. Theresa likes being pregnant but doesn’t want more children of her own. She has been thinking about becoming a surrogate for a long time. She thinks it’s a really cool thing to do to help someone else.

Theresa currently works part-time as a baker making pies, bread, and cookies, and loves her work. She worked as a certified nursing assistant before she went to culinary school. Theresa was born in Iowa but she always wanted to end up in Oregon. She has been here for about a year and a half and loves it. She and her daughters enjoy exploring their new city and taking road trips.

Barbara

Barbara is 29 years old and lives in Eugene with her husband and their two daughters, ages 5 and 2. Barbara recently delivered twins as a NWSC surrogate and absolutely loved her experience. She enjoys being pregnant and feels blessed to have her own children, and would love another opportunity to help someone else start a family.

Barbara stays at home taking care of her children while her husband works as a produce clerk at a grocery store. Someday they would like to buy a home they can grow old in, and maybe have another baby of their own. For now, Barbara is focused on enjoying her girls’ childhoods. In her spare time she enjoys crafts, horseback riding, traveling, and spending time with her family. Barbara is originally from California, and her husband is originally from Hawaii.

Sydney

Sydney is 23 years old and lives in Bend with her partner and their two little boys, ages 2 years and 15 months. Sydney started thinking about becoming a surrogate when she looked into her first baby’s eyes and thought about people who can’t have children of their own. Her kids are what bring meaning to her life and she wants to give that to someone else.

Sydney is a surgery scheduler at a plastic surgery office. In her spare time she enjoys baking, dancing, painting, and singing. Someday she hopes to open up her own bakery. Sydney and her partner were friends in high school and have been in a committed relationship for six years. He works part time and spends the rest of his time at home taking care of their children. They were both born in Oregon and, after a brief move to another state, realized they belong here. They both have family in Oregon.

Erin

Erin is 26 years old and lives in Warrenton with her husband and two children, ages 4 and 9 months. Part of the reason Erin feels inspired to become a surrogate is because her own mother struggled to conceive for 14 years before finally having Erin and her twin brother. Erin can’t imagine what her life would be like without her kids, and has always wanted to give someone else what came so easily to her.

Erin works as a medical surgery nurse and is currently training for labor and delivery. She loves her job and feels passionate about taking care of others. In her spare time, Erin enjoys cooking and baking and spending time outdoors with her family. Erin’s husband works in marine sales. The two of them met in grade school and were high school sweethearts. Both of their parents have been married for over 40 years and live nearby, and are supportive of the surrogacy.

Megan

Megan is 35 years old and lives in Portland with her partner and their 3 year old daughter. Megan works in the assisted reproduction field and her daughter was conceived using assisted reproduction, so she’s very comfortable with the idea of surrogacy. She would like to help create someone’s family the way someone else helped create hers. She would also love the opportunity to be pregnant again.

Megan is a donor coordinator at a fertility clinic, and is passionate about women’s reproductive health and LGBTQ rights. In her spare time she loves reading and spending time with her family. Megan’s partner works for the Department of Human Services and is able to work from home a few days a week to be at home with their daughter. Both of them have supportive family nearby.

Stephanie

Stephanie is 26 years old and lives in Salem with her husband and their two children, ages 7 and 4. Stephanie has been interested in becoming a surrogate for a long time. She really likes being pregnant and thinks it would be a great thing to do for someone else.

Stephanie works at a group home for people with disabilities. She also really enjoys photography, and considers herself very organized. Eventually she would like to pursue a career in social work or nursing. Her husband works in production related to construction. Stephanie and her husband first met in high school. They were both born and raised in Oregon and all of their family lives nearby.

Tawni

Tawni is 24 years old and lives in Hillsboro with her husband of 4 years and their two sons. Tawni feels like she is too young to be done being pregnant but doesn’t want more children of her own. She would love to bless someone else with a child.

Tawni is a stay-at home mom for her 5 year old and 21 month old boys. She loves spending time with them and creating special childhood memories for them. When they are older, she hopes to go back to school to become a veterinarian or a labor and delivery nurse. In her spare time Tawni enjoys baking, crafting, yoga, and spending time with friends. Her husband enjoys his job as an assistant manager at a large retail store. Tawni was born in Oregon and her husband has lived here since he was 12. They both have family in the area.

Kelly

Kelly is a 36 year old mother of four living in Hillsboro with her husband and their children. Kelly is friends with another Northwest Surrogacy Center surrogate who is currently carrying a little girl. Kelly and her husband have been talking about surrogacy for almost two years. They feel blessed to have had such easy pregnancies, and they have watched friends struggle with infertility. She thinks this is an awesome gift to give someone.

Kelly stays at home taking care of her four children, ages 6, 5, 3, and 1. Her focus is on giving her children a wonderful childhood with lots of great experiences. In her spare time her interests include cooking, camping, teaching, and service. Her husband loves his job as a fourth grade teacher. They have been married for 14 years. Both of them have been living in Oregon since they were children and have family nearby.

Ashanté

Ashanté is 24 years old and lives in Portland with her two young children, ages 2 and1. She says it’s important to her to help others and give back, and since she’s done having kids of her own she’d really like to help someone else have children.

Ashanté is a full-time student studying accounting. She hopes to become a financial advisor. In her spare time she mentors at-risk youth, and would eventually like to work with them, providing life skills training. She also enjoys knitting, crocheting, painting, and drawing. Ashanté comes from a big family, with eight brothers and sisters, and says they’ll support her through the pregnancy.
