Surrogate Requirements

Our surrogates often describe the experience as "extreme babysitting"—caring for another family's baby. Like any childcare provider, you'll go through a screening process and need to be stable, mature, and committed.

To be a surrogate, you must:

Live in select states (OR, WA, CA, CO, CT, IL, MA, MN, NJ, NM, NV, PA, VT)

Be physically and mentally healthy

Be 21-42 years old

Be a non-smoker

Have a healthy pregnancy history and be parenting your own child

Be willing to take injections and abstain from alcohol/drugs

Have a healthy height-to-weight ratio
