Interested in Becoming an Asian Egg Donor?

If you are a healthy, nonsmoking Asian woman between the ages of 20 and 28 years old with a healthy BMI, we would love to hear from you!

How does it work?

Step 1: Fill out an intake form and have a phone interview

To become an egg donor with AsiaWest, you must first complete our intake form. If you meet our minimum requirements for becoming an egg donor, someone from our staff will call you to ask you some questions and tell you more about our program. We will then have you fill out a longer questionnaire.

Step 2: Meet AsiaWest Egg Donors

Once we review your questionnaire and run a background check, we will invite you to set up an interview with us via Zoom. We will learn more about you, explain the egg donation process and answer your questions. We will ask you to send pictures of yourself and a copy of your college transcripts after the interview.

 Step 3: Medical screening

After your interview, you will begin your medical testing and screening with one of the leading fertility clinics we work with. These tests include blood and urine tests.

Step 4: Placement in Donor Database

Once the medical screening is complete and it is determined from the results that you are eligible to be an egg donor, we make your profile available on our donor database for intended parents to view.

 Step 5: Match

We will contact you to let you know when you have been selected by intended parents to be their egg donor.

Step 6: Additional screenings and sign a contract

After being matched with your intended family, the remainder of screenings take place. These include a physical exam, psychological screening and may include genetic testing. You will also sign contracts at this point.

 Step 7: Begin medication cycle

Once the contract is signed and the intended parents have placed money for your compensation in a escrow account with us, we will send a letter to the fertility clinic giving them clearance to begin preparing you for the egg retrieval. You will then begin your medication cycle to prepare for egg retrieval.

 Step 8: Egg retrieval

Egg retrieval is done approximately 10 days after you begin your cycle medication. The retrieval is an outpatient procedure performed at the fertility clinic. Typically, donors can return to their normal activities of work or school the following day.

 Step 9: Follow-up

After egg retrieval, we like to follow-up with our donors as a continuation of the care and support we offer throughout the donation process.

Step 10: Decide if you would like to donate again

If you decide that egg donation is something you would like to do again, we will discuss the timing with you and place you on the donor database again.
