Our surrogates often describe the experience as “extreme babysitting”—caring for another family’s baby. Like any childcare provider, you’ll go through a screening process and need to be stable, mature, and committed.
To be a surrogate, you must:
Live in select states (OR, WA, CA, CO, CT, IL, MA, MN, NM, NV, PA, VT)
Be physically and mentally healthy
Be 21-41 years old
Be a non-smoker
Have a healthy pregnancy history and be parenting your own child
Be willing to take injections and abstain from alcohol/drugs
Have a healthy height to weight ratio

How much compensation can I expect?
Surrogates earn $71,000-$87,000+ in total compensation and benefits. You will be reimbursed for lost wages and childcare, and if you do not have health insurance, the intended parents will provide it for you.Â

How often will I get paid?
You’ll start receiving payments once matched with a family and at the IVF clinic. After pregnancy confirmation, compensation is paid monthly, and all other expenses are covered through a trust account.
